What is a drop fade?
The fade begins at the usual height in front and then drops as it travels backward, ending lower at the nape. The result is a curve that mirrors the natural round of the head, which reads softer and more custom than a level fade.
Drop fade vs regular fade — which looks better on me?
A drop fade is more forgiving on a flat back of the head or a pronounced occipital bone, because it adds visual roundness where a straight line would flatten it. If you have ever felt a fade made the back of your head look boxy, this is the fix.
Can a drop fade be low, mid or high?
