Braiding & Twists
Where can I get my hair braided in Dubai?
At M3 Barbershop City Walk or Detail. Braiding takes hours, not minutes, and the tension it is braided at decides whether it lasts two weeks or costs you your hairline.
The single most important thing about braiding is the one nobody sells: tension. Braids that hurt going in are braids that pull hair out coming off.
Cornrows, tension done right
Cornrows
Tight is not the same as neat. A good braider gets flat, even rows without pulling at the hairline, and you should be able to raise your eyebrows afterwards.

Twists, low tension by design
Two-Strand Twists
If braids have cost you edges before, this is the style to move to. It is gentler by construction, not by care.

What styles can be braided?
Straight-back cornrows, patterned cornrows, two-strand twists, and single braids depending on your length and texture. Bring a photo — the pattern is easier shown than described.
How long do braids last?
Two to four weeks with care. Longer than that and the new growth at the root starts pulling, which is where damage begins.
Does it hurt?
It should not. If a braid is pulling hard enough to hurt at the scalp, it is too tight, and you should say so while it is being done — not afterwards.
