Where can I get cornrows in Dubai?
At M3 Barbershop City Walk or Detail. Cornrows are braided flat to the scalp, straight back or in a pattern, and the tension they are braided at is what decides whether they last or cost you your edges.
Tight is not the same as neat. A good braider gets flat, even rows without pulling at the hairline, and you should be able to raise your eyebrows afterwards.

Books cornrows by the hour at M3. You pick the barber, the hour is yours, and the cut is shaped to you in it.
Straight back or patterned?
Straight back is the fastest and cleanest; patterns take longer and are worth a photo rather than a description. Bring one and the braider will tell you whether your length supports it.
How long do cornrows last?
Two to four weeks. Past that the new growth at the root starts pulling, which is where damage begins.
How do I stop them damaging my hairline?
Say something if it hurts while it is being braided, keep them no longer than four weeks, and sleep in a durag. Traction damage at the edges is cumulative and it does not grow back easily.
