What is a modern mullet?
Short, textured top; sides tight or burst-faded around the ear; length kept from the crown down the back. Unlike the 1980s version, the transition is deliberately blended or deliberately disconnected — never accidental.
How long does the back need to be?
Enough to sit clearly below the hairline — usually at least ten centimetres. If you are growing into one, your barber can shape the sides and top now so the in-between stage still looks cut.
Is a mullet too much for Dubai?
It depends entirely on your work. It is a statement cut, and we will cut you a subtle one or a loud one — but we will tell you which one you are asking for before we start.

Mullet or wolf cut — what is the difference?
A wolf cut is shaggier and layered all over; a mullet concentrates the length at the back with tighter sides. They overlap, and your barber can sit you anywhere between them.
Does a mullet work with curly hair?
Extremely well — curl gives the back the shape it needs without styling.
How often should a mullet be cut?
Every four to six weeks, mostly to keep the sides and the transition tidy.
