Comb over, sharp finish
Comb Over
Where can I get a comb over fade in Dubai?
At M3 Barbershop City Walk or Detail. The modern comb over sweeps the top across the head over faded sides — a formal, high-contrast cut that has nothing to do with the word’s old meaning.
Two different haircuts share this name. The one we cut is the sharp, faded, deliberately-parted version — not the one that tries to hide anything.

What is a modern comb over?
Length on top swept across to one side, sides faded low, mid or high, and often a hard part cut in to define the line. The contrast between the swept top and the faded side is what makes it read as modern.
Comb over or side part?
A side part is softer and tapered; a comb over is faded, with more contrast and usually more length swept further across. Same gesture, more volume.
How do I keep it sharp?
A dryer to set the direction, then a matte paste. The fade is the part that ages first — every two to three weeks keeps it looking cut.

Questions people ask
Is a comb over good for thinning hair?
The modern faded version is honest about density rather than hiding it, and it works well while there is still real length on top.
Do I need a hard part?
No, but it sharpens the look considerably. Ask your barber to show you the line before they cut it.
How often should I get it re-cut?
Every two to three weeks for the fade.
How much is a comb over at M3?
An hour with the barber you choose, at their hourly rate.
