What does a line-up include?
A straight razor along the cheek line, a defined neckline, the moustache edged above the lip, and the corners of the beard squared or rounded to your face. Length is not touched unless you ask.
Where should the neckline sit?
About a finger’s width above the Adam’s apple, curving up toward the ears. Too high and the beard loses its jaw; too low and it climbs down the neck. This is the single most common thing to get wrong at home.
How often?
Every one to two weeks. Walk in for it, or take it inside the full set with your haircut.

A beard line-up on its own is not booked — come in to City Walk or Detail and take the next free chair. Want it with your haircut? Book the hour: the full set is the cut and this together, one hour, at your barber’s rate.
